security monitoring PCs, and the highly desired Home Theater Computer Entertainment systems that are capable of streaming audio
and video feeds anywhere in your home or even over the internet, or to your cell phone. We install highly secure networking solutions
for the home or office, wireless or cabled, and for any use, such as gaming, Internet sharing, printer sharing, streaming media,
security cameras, etc.

What is your typical response time?
Our typical response time for a visit is less than 24 hours. If you call with a question, our typical response time is less than a couple hours. If you call after hours for the emergency technician, generally you get someone in under 2 minutes.
What areas do you service?
Rent A Nerd services the greater South-Eastern Idaho area including Pocatello, Chubbuck, Tyhee, Inkom, Blackfoot, and Lava Hot Springs. Any cities outside this area may incur a travel fee.
What type of establishments do you service?
We work wherever you need us! Our client roster includes hundreds of home and business clients in industries from law to construction to religion to education. We cover the full spectrum.
What is your hourly rate?
We bill at $50.00 per hour for both shop & onsite work. We bill a one hour minimum for each visit, and then by quarter-hour (every 15 minutes).
We don't charge extra fees for working evenings or weekends, however, there may be additional charges for immediate emergency service calls.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks or Paypal.
What are your normal hours?
Our business office is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 9:00pm, 10:00am to 7:00pm Saturday, 12:00pm to 7:00pm Sunday. After hours, our business voice mail is checked frequently and we still schedule service calls.
Our technicians usually work from 9am to 9pm, five days a week (including some holidays) but we're here to meet your needs and can arrange to help you any time, day or night, if required.

What if I have an emergency and need help immediately?
We have emergency technicians on call 24 hours a day to help out. Simply call our office and leave a message. Our technicians will get back to you shortly. Emergencies fees may apply if after hours.
What experience do your technicians have?
Each of our technicians are experienced computer professionals. They hold industry standard certifications such as A+, Network+, CCNA, & Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
Most importantly, we only hire technicians who are fast, professional, courteous, and friendly; and who can explain your computer problems to you in English, not Geek.
