RAnerd IT Securities guarantees we will work with you until we get your problems solved. We want you to be happy and come back again. We want you to be excited and tell your friends about us. Therefore, we install all parts and perform all repairs according to industry standard and accepted procedures and warranty our work against defects and omissions. We will refund your money if you are not satisfied.

Sometimes certain problems aren't apparent at the time of service, or servicing one problem uncovers another. RAnerd IT Securities is proud to offer a "Return For More Work" rate at $30.00 per occurrence if brought to our attention within one week of the previous service. Normal turn around times apply for systems returned more than 1 week after pickup, or for additional work not related to the initial service visit.


Our guarantee covers the following:
  1. Any problems you have asked us to fix will be addressed and then tested to make sure the pc works properly, consistently and repeatedly in our shop.
  2. If we install Windows it has been installed according to industry standards and all available drivers, updates and patches will be loaded.
  3. All hardware and internal components are installed and connected correctly.
  4. If we clean a virus infection, the computer is free from viruses when it leaves our shop.
  5. We use industry accepted standards of troubleshooting, repair and recovery.
  6. Your computer will be inspected for security risks, and you will be informed of any necessary changes.
  7. One Personal Home computer will be cleaned for FREE! All Residential Rent-A-Nerd customers enjoy a free cleaning with each service!
    (A $50.00 value!) Cleaning includes the following:
    • Interior will be blown free of any dust and debris.
    • All Optical drives and floppy drives will be cleaned.
    • Power supply and all fans will be blown free of dust and debris.
    • PC exterior will be cleaned (some scuffs and scratches may not clean away).

Our guarantee does NOT cover the following:
  1. Microsoft Windows or any software package to be bug free or crash proof.
  2. Virus, Trojan or spy-ware re-infections.
  3. Stability of internet connections.
  4. Any peripheral we don't install, including printers.
  5. Software not installed by RAnerd IT Securities.
  6. Hardware not purchased from RAnerd IT Securities.
  7. Any non-standard user settings or over-clocking of hardware.
  8. Any power-surge or lightening damage or any other damage to the pc that is beyond our control. This includes new computers that are still under warranty. It is the customer's responsibility to protect their computers and peripherals with anti-surge devices.
